The other leaders in the fates universe absolutely should've had the gift of Sight.
Mama Hoshido had it. Izana had it. Corrin having it is the literal start of the game, so why not make it all of them?
That could've been why Flora was overlooked in favor of Felicia. Her sister was more robust (ie a better fighter) which meant she could withstand the physical toll the Sight took better.
Because none of the Nohr children ever mention prophetic dreams or the like, what if part of the reason Nohrians were so hated is that they DONT have the Sight, never have, but they’re still these terrifying fate defying people that control half the continent thru sheer force of will
When corrin in the prologue has a dream of the war between their siblings, it’s not only a sign they’re not a true Nohr, but also that they’re not a true Hoshido either because their can only be one gifted with the Sight per family. Could've been a nice bit of foreshadowing
